That is the tattoo of a 2,500-year-old Siberian woman She was preserved in ice in the Altai Mountains since her death, around age 25. She is thought to be an ancient nomadic Pazyryk, a people described in the 5th century BC by the Greek historian Herodotus. Their tattoos likely symbolized age and status. Based on her’s, archaeologists have nicknamed her Princess Ukok.
